OK, this week’s JOY is beyond easy. Almost too joyful to put into words, although I will try.
It is the birth of our grandson, Declan David. A beautiful Irish name, Declan means “full of goodness” or “man of prayer”. We already know he is full of goodness, and I certainly do hope he will be a man of prayer. And we of course love and cherish Declan’s namesake, his uncle David.
Declan joins his older brother, Jameson, who is delighted with his “tiny baby”. We too are delighted with our tiny baby. We feel so blessed that we live in this still somewhat foreign land called South Dakota, so that we can be near him and his brother.
Life is good and full of joy for us.
